Taylor is very excited for the baby to come live with us. She keeps talking about how she is going to sing to the baby, take a bath with the baby, and let the baby play in her kitchen. She frequently kisses my stomach and tells things to the baby. She even tells stories to the baby, which usually sound something like "Once upon a time, there was a beautiful Barney, the end!". She also likes to pretend that there is a baby in her tummy!
This first trimester was a little tough compared with my pregnancy with Taylor. I was very nauseous and tired, and already am struggling with anemia and heartburn. I've also been experiencing headaches. Luckily, I'm in the second trimester now, so some of these symptoms seem to be lessening!
We had a wonderful Easter with both families this year! Taylor loved every moment! She had a few Easter egg hunts: one at the Channahon Park District, one at the Forst's Easter party, and one with the Pavelka's. She was very afraid of the Easter bunny, but did love all of the goodies that he left her Easter morning!
As much fun as the Easter egg hunt was, Taylor was equally infatuated with the "big stick" that she found. She took great care in finding a home for it at our house!
